Lucid dreams are dreams in which you are conscious of dreaming.
Probabily everybody experiences them at least once in life. Lucid dreams
are now the object of scientific studies in the hope of finding
here the key to define consciousness in neurobiological terms.
Some preliminary findings show that such dreams occur more frequently
with people practicing meditation.
This work tries to describe a trip into lucid dreams where the mind's
functioning by associations, which is typical of dreams and music,
coexists with flashes of awareness that manipulates and guides it.
Lucid dreams are a metaphor of musical composition.
One hour of Masala's typical music-style, ranging from light melodies
(Light India) to unbridled runs (Lucid Dreams) - unusual raga guitarings
(Glimmer of dawn) - conforting "pop" songs (Sri Mookambika)
and oniric pictures (Laos Song), where Boliwar Miranda played his bamboo
flutes, Maurizio Dami arranged and produced and Ettore Bonafè played
drums and percussions and collaborated to arrangement and composition.
Special and unexpected guests : Ranieri Cerelli, ex guitar player in
Neon and Avantika Akerkar, vocalist from Bombay-New York.
